Wu said that, according to official information from f2pool, the Litecoin network experienced abnormal activity on April 25, 2026 due to invalid MWEB transactions, resulting in a temporary chain split. f2pool stated that it detected the issue in real time and continued mining on the valid chain that followed the correct consensus rules. After chasing for 13 blocks, the valid chain successfully caught up. Starting from block 3,095,931, f2pool mined key blocks that helped the valid chain surpass the invalid fork chain, ultimately enabling the network to return to normal through a natural reorganization (reorg). f2pool expressed thanks to the miners for continually providing hash power to ensure network security.
