CryptoWorld news reports that Blockstream CEO Adam Back said that although institutional funds are flowing into Bitcoin, this process is slower than people expect. He noted that the Bitcoin ETF recently involved by Morgan Stanley is viewed by some observers as a catalyst to end the current bear market, but actual institutional adoption is slower—potentially taking a year or even longer for the effects to become visible. Back believes that while Bitcoin ETFs may be the most important development in the near term, investors will not flood into the market overnight.
