Lately, completing tasks on the platform really feels a bit like clocking in at work: check-in, linking accounts, doing a few rounds, filling out forms, and finally worrying about being cut off by the witch. The scoring system, to put it simply, is just quantifying how "like a real user" you are, but the more you try to cater to it, the more your actions become template-like, and instead look more like a script... It’s quite tangled.

Recently, new L1/L2 incentives to boost TVL, and hearing old users complain about "mining, selling," I can understand: structurally, incentives are substitutes for cash flow, and the people brought in may not necessarily stay. For me, it now feels more like practice: practicing not to be led by the emotions of "just one step away," treating it as homework after finishing, and not making myself look like a performance review. Anyway, projects that can stay, even if you break them down into unlocking and governance, won’t fool anyone for too long.
