Recently, someone was discussing whether on-chain privacy should be "completely anonymous" or not. My own expectation is quite simple: on-chain isn’t a stealth cloak, more like a glass house with frosted film on the outside—able to block some passersby’s view, but if you need compliance tracing, exchange cooperation, or address profiling, it’s still possible to identify the account. To put it plainly, don’t expect to be clean after just a few casual transfers, and don’t treat "compliance" as a flood monster; the boundaries are likely: you can aim for low profile, but don’t expect it to be forever untraceable.
Lately, hardware wallets have been out of stock, and phishing links are everywhere… Everyone’s security awareness has improved, but it’s easy to get carried away by anxiety. When I have too much information, I do filtering like obsessive-compulsive: only look at official domains or announcement sources, never click on links, and prefer to manually input URLs even if it takes two more steps; when authorization is involved, I pause first, then sign after a night. A slight delay, to improve execution quality and feel more at ease. That’s all for now.
