Using a VPN to bypass the Great Firewall for 5 years, I found that this thing is like a Web3 project, with an impossible triangle—reliable service, cheap, and few users—choose two out of three.


Reliable service + cheap price → many users → node congestion, crashes
Reliable service + few users → expensive enough to deter users
Cheap price + many users → frequently caught by GFW
Now I only have one that can be used stably, $10/month, and starting this year, I only sell annual plans, likely to increase prices soon.
