The U.S. continues maritime blockade against Iran; Arab Sea merchant ships forcibly inspected

After the temporary ceasefire between the United States and Iran, the U.S. continued to impose a maritime blockade on Iran, and Iran demanded its lifting. Iran’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Iravani, said on the 27th during a speech at the UN Security Council that the United States openly violates international law by continuously imposing illegal sanctions on Iran, forcibly seizing Iranian ships and crew members, “like pirates and terrorists.” (Xinhua News Agency)
