Lummis Says CLARITY Act Developer Protections Will Be Supplemented

U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis said the developer protection provisions in the CLARITY Act have no issue and work is underway to supplement them. Cynthia Lummis said the goal is to protect developers not connected to illicit funds while ensuring illegal actors are punished. Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche previously said developers who do not assist third-party criminal activity will not be prosecuted.
