Anthropic quietly raises the estimated token usage cost for Claude Code by over 100%
Golden Finance reports that on April 29th, Anthropic significantly increased its publicly disclosed cost estimates for Claude Code, with the token expenses for enterprise developers and nearly all regular users on Claude Code being raised to more than double the previous figures. The latest information on the Claude Code official website states, “In enterprise deployment, the average cost per developer is about $13 per active day, with 90% of users incurring less than $30 per active day.” However, prior to April 16th, the estimated data provided on that page was: $6 per active day per developer, with 90% of users incurring less than $12 per active day.
