Deep Tide TechFlow news. On April 29, according to disclosures by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, tokens using the codes “HKDAP” or “HSBC” have appeared in the market, but those tokens are not issued by any licensed stablecoin issuer and have no connection to the issuer.

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority urges the public to remain vigilant and pay attention to the statements issued by Dot Point Financial Technology Limited and The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited regarding the above situation. As of now, both licensed stablecoin issuers have stated that they have not issued any regulated stablecoins into the market.

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority reminds the public to stay alert to any fraudulent activities that claim to be related to licensed persons or the stablecoins issued by them. If you have any doubts, refer to the official announcements of the two licensed parties and purchase or use stablecoins through regulated channels.
