The first thing I do after being woken up by the alarm clock in the morning is not to check the coin prices, but to see which PFP floor was swept by someone again... Frankly, now PFPs are more like membership cards + social tickets. Can the brand narrative hold up? In the end, it still depends on whether there is real money backing and continuous activities; otherwise, once the hype passes, all that's left are avatar frames. Also, don't be too superstitious about those on-chain data tools or tag systems; recently, they've been criticized for lagging and can be misleading. I've personally encountered the "smart money" tag, only to find out later it was a self-directed play by a split position. Anyway, I look at projects from two points: whether the community is still talking, and whether liquidity is willing to let you exit. Long-term value isn't nonexistent, but it has to survive the short-term attention drought.
