The alarm clock on my desk has recently become a reminder: don’t treat testnets as an ATM. In the past, earning points was just practice, gas was spent freely, but today I always feel like “this wave should be airdropped,” and once my mindset drifts, it’s easy to get carried away. To be honest, I now set two stop-loss rules: time stop-loss (stop after two nights of no progress on a project) and cost stop-loss (if the hidden costs like accounts, IPs, scripts add up to over budget, I stop). Otherwise, it’s like the inflation and internal competition in blockchain games and studios—eventually everyone competes until the coin price and expectations spiral downward together. Anyway, I’d rather miss out than turn practice into an obsession… That’s it for now, I’ll review again tomorrow.
