Lately I keep hearing the word "modularization," which sounds pretty fancy, but for us end users, honestly, the changes aren't that dramatic. You might still be using the same wallet, clicking the same interactions, just with the "accounting/execution/data" separated behind the scenes. The result is: some chains are cheaper and faster, and cross-chain transfers are more frequent, but the experience isn't necessarily more worry-free.

Actually, the most direct feeling people have is still from the incentive system. When new L1/L2s launch, TVL quickly jumps and various tasks start. It's normal for veteran users to complain about "mining, selling, and dumping"... Anyway, what I care more about now is not to get myself into ten different chains or leave a bunch of authorizations just for a few cents in rewards, only to spend time cleaning up later. It's okay to slow down, don't get carried away—safety first.
