#WCTC交易王PK Regarding the understanding of blockchain, I have a slightly different perspective.

We have been imagining that blockchain is the infrastructure of the next-generation internet, discussing it as a technology or application that will change the nature of production relations. But I think that might be too grand.

From a temporal perspective, the implementation of this technology might take ten years or even a hundred years. Each generation has its own priorities, and we can't be constantly working on things for our grandchildren.

So, at this very moment, blockchain technology has only been around for a little over a decade—starting from the release of the white paper, it’s only from 2008 to now. We are doubting, questioning, and worrying about the application value of blockchain, but I personally think these concerns are not very meaningful.

The reason is that, within the entire time cycle of our generation, the application value and adoption speed of blockchain are unlikely to be as fast as we imagine. It’s similar to when the internet or computers first emerged; the first-generation entrepreneurs and internet professionals could hardly have imagined that today we could hail rides, watch videos, or make instant payments through the internet.
