Deep Tide TechFlow News, April 29, According to The Block, U.S. District Court Judge Kaplan in the Southern District of New York issued a ruling on Tuesday, officially dismissing Sam Bankman-Fried's motion for a retrial and sharply criticizing the new evidence he submitted, stating that the relevant claims are "highly conspiratorial." Notably, Bankman-Fried had previously requested Judge Kaplan to recuse himself from the case.

Bankman-Fried was convicted on all seven criminal charges by a New York jury in November 2023, involving fraud against FTX customers, lenders, and investors.
