Taking photos with scissors hands may reveal fingerprints, everyone should be cautious when taking pictures!
In 2017, there were reports and studies suggesting that if the photo is taken within 1.5 to 3 meters, with a high-definition camera, exposing the finger pad, it is possible to extract fingerprint features, and even potentially restore the fingerprint.
Of course, whether the fingerprint can ultimately be reconstructed and restored depends on the cost and difficulty, especially now with popular beauty cameras, which somewhat obscure the difficulty of fingerprint recovery. But this does not mean there is no risk at all.
Especially if the fingerprint is copied and obtained by someone, it could cause certain financial losses. Human fingerprints, iris patterns, and voiceprints are all very important personal security information and need to be well protected.
It’s hard not to feel that @cz_ had foresight; previously, the “4” hand gesture for photos surprisingly had the back of the hand facing outward. I wonder if CZ had already been alert to this risk!
From now on, learn to use the back of your hand when taking photos!
