Golden Finance reports that on April 29th, the U.S. Pentagon has officially submitted a name change application, intending to rename the “Department of Defense” as the “Department of War,” with estimated related adjustment costs exceeding $50 million. It is reported that the Pentagon’s Office of the General Counsel has issued a related proposal to promote legal amendments to complete the official renaming.
