Recently, I've seen a bunch of large on-chain transfers and hot/cold wallet movements on exchanges being regarded as "smart money" by people. I almost got tempted to join in, but I decided to hold off for now... Cross-chain bridges, to put it simply, are about "trust": Are the signers on the multi-signature trustworthy? Will the data fed by the oracle be manipulated? Any link in the chain could fail, and there's nothing you can do just by watching the K-line to save it. Now I usually prefer to wait for several confirmations when crossing chains; taking it slow is fine, at least you're not risking your life on an unfinalized piece of news. You can FOMO on side dishes, but don't rush the main course. Pause, observe, stop refreshing for a bit, and think clearly before confirming.
