In the past two days, I’ve been looking into that whole re-staking / shared security setup again—returns stacking layer upon layer, and it looks like a thousand-layer cake… But to be blunt, the stacking might just be an illusion: risk doesn’t disappear out of nowhere; it’s just packaged to look prettier. I took 0.03 coins and tried to stake them, and the whole thing froze for more than ten minutes just waiting for confirmation. My mindset immediately went from “I really get this” to “Am I just acting as liquidity for other people?”
Recently, the modular and DA-layer narrative has been pretty interesting too. Developer circles are buzzing with excitement, while ordinary users (including me) are basically like: everything you said is right—but why would I need to use it? Anyway, I care more about “if something goes wrong, who will stand behind me—and whether they can actually hold up,” rather than the annualized return on the panel gaining a couple more percentage points… For now, that’s it. If you want to start a fight in the comments, go ahead—I love reading them.
