Lately I've been thinking, what's the real difference between grid/DCA and just going all-in? Honestly, it's about who better matches your sleep quality... I personally tend to want to check the market again at night. Going all-in with that heartbeat pounding like a radio blasting is exhilarating, but the next day my brain feels foggy.
Grid/DCA is like turning down the radio to a low volume, not as exciting, more about "just following the plan," so your emotions are less likely to be whipped around. Of course, it's not invincible; when there's a sudden narrative climax, watching others take off, I still get itchy hands.
Recently, big on-chain transfers and hot/cold wallet movements on exchanges are often interpreted as smart money moves. I can't help but glance at them more, but thinking about it, these signals are quite delayed. Jumping in and then hitting some fees just adds drama to myself. For now, better to sleep peacefully than chase every signal.
