Lightspark Launches Grid Global Accounts With Visa for Bitcoin and Dollar Payments
Lightspark launched Grid Global Accounts, an API product that offers branded USD accounts, Visa debit cards, and payouts to 65+ countries and 14,000 banks. David Marcus said one wallet address supports both dollars and Bitcoin and can route transactions across Bitcoin, stablecoin, and fiat rails. Marcus said the Visa partnership gives account holders spending access across many countries and an option to move balances on-chain for self-custody. Marcus also said Lightspark will handle KYC, compliance, fraud, and licensing for the product.
