Lately, phishing sites have really been getting into my head… With mnemonic phrases, I’d rather copy them by hand twice and stash them in different places than take a screenshot and upload it to a cloud drive. Anyone who asks me for them—I just assume they’re acting like it’s me. And then there’s signature authorization—many pages look exactly like real, legitimate projects. You click in and get a bunch of “confirm” prompts; basically, they just take your wallet keys and help them close the door behind them… When I see “infinite limit,” I immediately back out—I’d rather click a few more times than proceed. And those “airdrop claim / compliance verification” links—the more they push you to do it fast, the more suspicious it is. Recently, people have been talking about adding taxes in some region, and compliance tightening and loosening back and forth—once people’s expectations for deposits and withdrawals change, they get even more anxious, and the more anxious they are, the easier it is to fall for the scam. In any case, I’d rather miss out than wake up in the middle of the night to find my wallet empty… Forget it—I won’t talk about this anymore. I’m going to clear out my previous authorizations first.
