Lately, I've been debating whether to go with L2 or the mainnet. Honestly, I just want to save on gas and not turn the experience into a level-based game. My approach is a bit cautious: for small interactions and frequent operations, I use L2; for long-term storage or very sensitive permissions (like changing ownership, upgrades, transferring large amounts), I’d rather spend a bit more gas to go back to the mainnet for peace of mind.

That step of bridging is especially annoying. Waiting back and forth for confirmations, constantly checking if the contract address is correct—one slip and I might give the "savings" to the wrong authorization... So before each cross-chain transfer, I make it a point to do an authorization check, clearing out any unused allowances directly. Recently, I’ve seen tools and label systems for on-chain data being criticized as lagging or misleading, which is pretty normal. Labels are just references; don’t treat them as talismans. The key is still to double-check permissions and transaction details yourself. Anyway, I now prefer to go slower and not risk losing the "keys" again.
