According to Bloomberg, JPMorgan Chase appointed former Goldman Sachs executive Oliver Harris to oversee the blockchain business Kinexys, succeeding Naveen Mallela who has joined Standard Chartered; his responsibilities include driving commercialization and expanding institutional clients. Kinexys launched in 2019, with a daily trading volume of about $5 billion as of December last year, and the bank has also introduced JPM Coin for on-chain settlement for institutional clients.
