Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel said the U.S. should target crypto crime rather than software developers, framing Bitcoin and digital assets as legitimate infrastructure. Blanche said developers who are not the third-party users committing crimes should not expect investigation or charges, while Patel said the FBI is focusing on scam centers and prevention work.
