Recently, the group has been arguing again about "I clearly saw it on the chain, why hasn't it arrived yet," basically meaning that what you see is often "what a certain RPC sees on the chain." Slow node synchronization, RPC caching, indexers re-queuing and recalculating—you’re basically watching a delayed live broadcast... Especially during peak times, priority fee surges, and the packing order isn't something that can be clearly explained by the line of text on your wallet interface.

Now I’ve basically gotten used to: switching between two RPCs for comparison, directly checking the raw transactions/blocks on the block explorer, and trusting my own eyes. By the way, recently hardware wallets are out of stock + phishing links are everywhere, the more anxious you are, the easier it is to click the wrong thing. Don’t curse the chain for being "slow" while handing over your seed phrase—that’s a huge loss.
The group chat atmosphere is quite genuine: half is about popular science, half is about urging "confirm faster," and I’m also in the latter... Let’s leave it at that for now.
