Lately, there are always people watching whale addresses just to copy trades. My first reaction now is: are they sure he's building a position, or is he hedging? Some large trades involve buying spot while opening a counter-position in futures, so he can survive both upward and downward moves. Those copying him end up getting hit from both sides. Especially with this wave of AI Agents + automated trading, the hype is sky-high, but as on-chain interactions increase, security details are more easily overlooked, and even signing an authorization can make people dizzy. Anyway, for someone like me with small positions riding the hype, I make money and then run, or pretend to be dead when I lose. Don’t think of yourself as a whale just yet.

If I had to keep only one habit: always check if he has a counter-position on the other side before copying.
