These past two days, hardware wallets are out of stock again. In the group, there are also all kinds of phishing links everywhere, and it’s made me a little on edge… To put it plainly, if I haven’t lost any coins, then I’ll count it as a win. Lately, I’ve started jotting down that little moment of hesitation right before each time I “sign/authorize”: which entry I clicked, why I needed to sign, and whether I felt secure afterward. The results are pretty clear—after recording it for a while, I actually feel less and less like acting on impulse. If I see a page that asks me to input my seed phrase, I shut it down right away, even skipping the “take another look.” Authorization is really a red line: if I can avoid it, I avoid it; if I can revoke it, I revoke it. I’d rather be slower, too—I don’t want to wake up one day and realize I’ve given a stranger’s contract an unlimited allowance. That’s it for now. Less hassle.
