Terminal demand in the Shandong region is slowly recovering, with asphalt shipments significantly increasing
This week (20260415-20260421), the total shipment volume from 54 domestic asphalt companies and manufacturers was 188k tons, an increase of 44.6% month-on-month. Asphalt market shipments have rebounded, with notable increases in Shandong and Northeast regions. In Shandong, terminal demand is slowly recovering, and downstream low-price resource stocking is highly active, driving increased shipments from refineries; in the Northeast, most are low-sulfur asphalt manufacturers transferring inventory externally, leading to higher shipments within the region.
