CoinWorld News, Google suddenly decided to withdraw from a $100 million voice-controlled autonomous drone swarm technology bid after successfully qualifying for the Pentagon project.

Sources familiar with the matter revealed that the company notified the U.S. government on February 11th that it would no longer participate in the project aimed at developing drone swarm control technology, just weeks after the plan was submitted.
Records show that this decision was made after an internal ethical review within the company.
Google officially cited a lack of "resources" as the reason for withdrawing from the project.
Several Google employees involved in the project expressed disappointment with the decision to withdraw from the bid, but hundreds of Google AI researchers have strongly opposed the company's use of cutting-edge technology for classified military purposes.
