A Voltage benchmark report said a 30-day iGaming pilot routed 88.2 BTC across 237,000 Lightning payments with 1.86-second average settlement. The pilot recorded a 99.94% success rate, and Voltage argued that Lightning could cut payout fees and remove chargeback risk for gambling operators.
