Recently, I saw someone criticizing "on-chain data being fake / projects running away," and when I checked the timestamp, it was basically just a data source hiccup. To put it simply, what you're looking at is the "organized answer" from the indexer/subgraph layer; it needs to track new blocks, recalculate entities, and then feed the data to the front end. Add in some RPC rate limiting, and occasionally you'll see: the data was written on-chain early, but your display still shows the old state, like a sudden rollback. Modularization and the DA layer are hyped up by developers, but ordinary users just see "why isn't it updating again"... Anyway, I now get into the habit of checking multiple explorers and raw logs for the same transaction, instead of jumping to conclusions right away. Staring at refreshes until my eyes hurt, and my neck's a bit stiff—time for a drink of water.
