Abstract generation in progress

CoinWorld News reports that Pi Networkโ€™s price has increased by over 15% in the past week, outperforming the overall cryptocurrency market. The networkโ€™s price on April 28 rose from approximately $0.166 to $0.189, with a market capitalization approaching $2 billion, ranking among the top 50 cryptocurrencies. This surge was driven by the successful upgrade to Protocol 22.1, aimed at improving scalability and transaction throughput. Investor sentiment has strengthened ahead of the upcoming Protocol 23 upgrade, which is expected to introduce full smart contract functionality. Additionally, Pi Network will participate as an official sponsor in the 2026 Consensus Conference, further boosting the projectโ€™s visibility. On-chain data shows that token unlocks decreased at the end of April, reducing selling pressure and supporting the price increase. Currently, Pi Networkโ€™s price is attempting to regain the resistance zone of $0.19โ€“$0.20; if it can break through sustainably, it may advance toward $0.2045.
