Recently, various social mining/points tasks have been flooding my feed again—daily check-ins, commenting, reposting every day, like I’m working for badges… To put it bluntly, the more you chase after “identity,” the less it’s worth, especially when so many projects ultimately just send out a “Thank you for participating.” I’m honestly at a loss for words.

Actually, I’ve also been impulsive and jumped into a few trades before. Staying up late to do tasks, then the next day at market open, my hands would be shaking. The short-term key things I should have been watching, I ended up missing. Anyway, my principle now is simple: if I can prove my contribution on-chain, I’ll do it a couple of times; if it’s just a pure time grind, I’ll pass.

Recently, retail investors have also been complaining about miners’/validators’ income, MEV, and fairness in transaction ordering. Hearing that makes me even less interested in being free labor—I’d rather spend my time trading and reviewing my trades, which feels more solid.
