Tether is developing modular Bitcoin mining systems with Canaan and ACME Swisstech, using hash board modules instead of sealed mining rigs. Tether said the design separates compute, power, and enclosure so each part can be optimized independently with its own control and cooling setup. The effort adds to Tether’s broader Bitcoin mining expansion after the company disclosed an 8.2% stake in Antalpha last week.
