Recently, I saw a bunch of people discussing LST and re-staking again.

Basically, what everyone wants is "the same principal working multiple jobs."
Where does the yield come from?
Partly from the rewards inherent in the underlying staking, and more from renting out security:
other protocols/services want to endorse you, so they give you subsidies, issue points, or incentives.

But the risks also stack up like a "stacking game":
the on-chain layer involves verification/reduction risks,
further up are questions about who to delegate to, how to allocate strategies, whether there are vulnerabilities in the contracts,
whether bridges and cross-chain messages will cause issues...
Sometimes the APY looks gentle, but underneath, it's quite tough.

Recently, with testnet incentives and point expectations heating up,
speculations like "Will the mainnet issue tokens?" are also getting intense.
I usually treat it like a weather forecast—just listen, no need to take it too seriously.
If you're really going to put in a position, think through the exit strategy first,
so you won't be left praying when the time comes.
