The UAE's withdrawal from OPEC is quite interesting.


This withdrawal means that OPEC as a group is effectively defunct.
But it's a good thing for the UAE, as it now has independent pricing power, allowing it to freely increase or decrease production without having to consider the other member countries.
Now, with the US-Iran war causing oil prices to spike and plummet, the UAE can navigate more easily.
Moreover, the US-Iran war has significantly impacted the UAE, causing its previous free trade zones and tourism industry to suffer.
As expected, under the premise of personal interests, group interests are not worth mentioning.
