I just found out that XChat finally was released on the App Store recently. So Elon Musk managed to launch his Western version of WeChat after so long. The truth is, it has been a long project: since Elon Musk bought Twitter in 2022, he had this idea in mind, and then spent almost a year on internal testing. The interesting part is that it promises end-to-end encryption without ads or tracking, which honestly sounds good compared to other apps. I don't know if it will really take off, but Elon Musk at least tried. Has anyone already downloaded it?
