These past couple of days, the more I look into it, the more it feels like macro arbitrage rates and risk appetite—once they filter down to someone like me with a small position—boils down to one thing: my nerve tightens🤣 When rates are a bit higher, everyone loves holding “safer” stuff, so things on-chain aren’t as fired up, and I don’t really dare to go all-in and charge recklessly. On the flip side, when the mood runs hot, even I want to add a bit—but I’m still afraid of ending up chasing after the last wave.

Just then, that major public chain is scheduled to upgrade/maintain, and the group chat is full of speculation about whether ecosystem projects will “move.” To be honest, I can’t really tell who would migrate, so I’ll treat my position as a “backup”: keep some stablecoins as a cold backup, keep the main coins as a hot backup—so if something weird really happens, at least I won’t end up taking a single all-in hit and getting wiped out… For now, that’s the plan. Learning slowly.
