Just noticed German govt bond yields are climbing pretty steadily today. The 2-year is up to 2.544% and the 30-year hit 3.6%, both pushing higher by a couple basis points. What's interesting is the curve steepening - that 2-year to 10-year spread widened to almost 50 basis points. Looks like longer-dated govt bond yield is really feeling the pressure. The whole day's been a W-pattern, so there's definitely some back-and-forth happening in the market. Anyone else watching the German curve right now?
