Guangxi: The "14th Five-Year Plan" will further promote the concentrated development of the artificial intelligence industry
During the “15th Five-Year Plan” period, Guangxi will emphasize strategy, integration, application, openness, and safety, further promoting the clustered development of the artificial intelligence industry. This was learned by reporters on April 28 at the “Starting Off the 15th Five-Year Plan—Guangxi Special News Conference.”
Since 2025, Guangxi has made efforts to develop artificial intelligence and has built a differentiated development path of “R&D in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou—Guangxi integration—ASEAN applications.” The China–ASEAN countries’ Artificial Intelligence Application Cooperation Center has been approved for construction. Guangxi has signed agreements to jointly build artificial intelligence cooperation with countries including Laos, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Myanmar, facilitating 43 cross-border cooperation projects; more than 300 artificial intelligence companies have invested and started businesses in Guangxi.
