On the morning of April 22, a Central Asia China-Europe train loaded with automobile parts and other cargo departed from the dedicated railway line of the Xiahuayuan railway station at the Xuanhua Business Department of the Beijing Railway Logistics Center of the National Railway Beijing Bureau. It will exit through Alashankou and be shipped to Almaty, Kazakhstan. This marks the first scheduled Central Asia train service launched in Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province. Going forward, it will be rolled out routinely at a fixed schedule of 1 train per month.

It is understood that this scheduled Central Asia train service carried a total of 49 containers. It mainly transports industrial products and people’s livelihood supplies produced in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and in Zhangjiakou locally. The transportation time is approximately 13 days. In the future, it will continue to strengthen the industrial service capacity of Zhangjiakou’s international logistics corridor, further meet the strong demand from enterprises in Zhangjiakou and surrounding areas for exports to Central Asia, and play a positive role in lowering corporate logistics costs, helping Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei products expand into overseas markets, and serving high-quality joint construction of the Belt and Road.
