Recently, people keep asking me: why does on-chain data sometimes just "get stuck," even though the block has been confirmed, and the front end is still spinning? Basically, this isn’t like a supermarket checkout line, more like ordering takeout: the rider (RPC) is being rate-limited, the merchant (indexer) is still packing, and the menu (Subgraph) hasn't finished syncing. The slower one is, the more you feel like "why hasn't it arrived yet."
When cross-chain bridges were hacked, everyone was used to "waiting for confirmation" first, and even if an oracle reports an outrageous price, you’d hold off and trust it later. Now, seeing data delays, I’ve become more relaxed: I no longer chase explanations, I accept randomness... If it refreshes, great; if not, I just assume it’s in line. Anyway, rushing doesn’t help, and rushing might cause you to click the wrong button.
