If I had to keep only one habit: before cross-chain or moving to L2, always pause for 10 seconds to check the gas and bridge status, don't rush to click confirm.

My current compromise between L2 and the mainnet is quite simple: for small and frequent transactions, try to do them on L2, as the experience is indeed smoother; but for long-term holdings or contracts I don't quite understand, I’d rather pay a bit more gas on the mainnet for peace of mind. Especially during the airdrop season, with task platforms both fighting off bots and doing points, the grab-and-go folks are scrambling like they’re at work… I’m not following that rhythm anyway, until I understand the on-chain selling pressure and stablecoin inflows better, I’ll stay quiet.
