TON Releases Agentic Wallet Contracts: A self-custody wallet form designed for autonomous AI Agents, currently in developer preview, with the official recommendation to experiment only on the testnet. The solution adopts a “separated key” architecture: each Agentic Wallet is deployed as a smart contract in the form of an SBT, retaining the full functionality of TON wallet v5. The contract verifies that the initiator must be the owner; otherwise, the wallet will be deployed in an uninitialized state and will not be displayed in the browser to prevent wallet creation without consent. After successful deployment, AI obtains the new wallet address and can initiate on-chain operations such as transfers and exchanges by signing with the operator’s private key. The official emphasizes that the AI agent has full control over assets within its exclusive Agentic Wallet but cannot control the user’s main wallet, thus enabling proxy execution without exposing the user’s root key.
