CryptoWorld News: The United Arab Emirates announced on Tuesday that it is withdrawing from OPEC and OPEC+, amid a historic energy shock triggered by the Iran war and its impact on the global economy. This decision dealt a heavy blow to the organization and its de facto leader, Saudi Arabia. As a long-standing member of OPEC, the UAE's withdrawal could lead to chaos within the organization and weaken its influence. U.S. President Donald Trump welcomed the move, accusing OPEC of "extorting the world by raising oil prices." Trump also linked U.S. military support for the Gulf region to oil prices, stating that while the U.S. defends OPEC member countries, they "use high oil prices to their advantage." The UAE, a regional business hub and one of Washington's most important allies, previously criticized other Arab countries for not taking sufficient measures during the war to protect themselves from multiple attacks by Iran.
