CoinWorld News: As the impact of Ukraine drone attacks on Russian export facilities eases, Russia’s seaborne oil export volume has risen to its highest level in more than a month. According to oil tanker tracking data compiled by the agency, over the four weeks ending April 26, Russia’s crude oil exports from its ports increased to 3.52 million barrels per day, reaching a new high in more than a month—up by about 350,000 barrels per day from the previous week. In the most recent week, export volumes edged up to 3.79 million barrels per day, setting a new high for the same period since March 22. The surge in exports has increased the total volume of Russian oil shipped by sea, but currently most of the crude oil is on the way rather than sitting on idle ships. Cargo shipped through the Pacific stays at sea longer, and more cargo has been sent to India in recent weeks. At least 10 batches of ESPO crude oil shipped in April were sent to India, compared with only 3 batches in February before the outbreak of the Iran war.
