According to Beating monitoring, the flagship model of the Moon’s Dark Side, Kimi K2.6, topped the OpenRouter weekly LLM leaderboard with 1.88T tokens used, a surge of 7683% week-over-week. The model was launched on OpenRouter on April 20 and, within a week, surpassed Claude Sonnet 4.6 (1.35T) and DeepSeek V3.2 (1.24T), which had long held the top two spots.

Among the top ten, Anthropic takes three spots: Claude Sonnet 4.6 is second (1.35T, ↓3%), Claude Opus 4.7 is fourth (1.17T, ↑180%), and Claude Opus 4.6 is ninth (662B, ↓42%). Opus 4.7 is the second-largest growth model this week, with usage nearly tripling. Google Gemini 3 Flash Preview ranks fifth (1.03T, ↓11%). Step 3.5 Flash (762B, ↑78%) and NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Super free (656B, ↑25%) also show notable increases.

The OpenRouter leaderboard ranks models by their actual token consumption on the platform, reflecting developers’ real calling preferences at the API layer.
