For the past couple of days, I’ve been bombarded by group messages again, and KOL threads are also flooding the screen. Basically, once information overload hits, it all boils down to nothing but emotions. I acted on impulse and ended up losing money—so who’s to blame here: the group for hyping things up, or the KOLs for steering the narrative? I think nobody should take the blame… I’m just someone who likes to watch contract parameters. In the end, the person who still has to press the confirm button is me.

Especially recently, everyone’s been talking about the rate-cut expectations and the U.S. dollar index, with risk assets trembling back and forth alongside them. That kind of “macros turning = immediately go all in” vibe is extremely easy to get swept up in. Anyway, my current approach is pretty old-school: when I see trending hot topics, I first turn off notifications, then I go check whether the protocol’s liquidation threshold, collateral ratio, and fee rate are quietly changing. Once the gears loosen, no amount of storytelling can hold me up. For now, this is it—moving slower is safer than chasing after the people shouting.
