Recently, when looking at L2, people are arguing again about TPS, fees, and subsidies—who's more aggressive. Honestly, I'm a bit immune to it… These numbers can be adjusted with too much room, today cheap, tomorrow might not be.

I focus on one main thread: whether the data can actually be used, who determines the order of transactions, and how long after an incident is considered a “true end.” Data availability is like whether the ledger is publicly displayed, the order is like who picks up the pen first, and finality is whether this page can be torn off and rewritten once it's completed. The terms sound intimidating, but it’s really just these three things.
Why am I calm? A small habit: every time I see “we’re faster and cheaper,” I casually check where they store the data, who decides the order, and if there’s rollback space in case of failure. Only after answering these clearly do I discuss the ecosystem; otherwise, I treat it as an emotional K-line, just look at it and move on.
