Recently, I’ve seen a bunch of "delegated votes" being pushed in governance proposals again. On the surface, it’s community consensus, but honestly, it’s more like handing the keys over to a few familiar addresses. Many people aren’t indifferent; they’re just too lazy to read long articles and afraid of voting incorrectly, so they simply delegate with one click. As a result, who exactly is the governance token really governing… you know what I mean. What’s more awkward is that those on-chain data tools and tagging systems are still being criticized for being outdated or even misleading. When you see "certain big whales/funds" voting, it might just be that the tags haven’t been updated or have been washed once, and the sentiment can be easily swayed. Anyway, I only trust what I can reproduce myself: first, look at how the voting transactions are constructed, the traces of the same nonce/batch scripts, and then decide whether to follow or not. Taking it slow is fine; at least I’ll feel more at ease. Be cautious.
